I kind of whole heartedly agree with KJ's responses (except for that last one). Qr, I'm thinking, is supposed to be for the young gay guys. Those coming out stories and being secure about our sexuality. Like straight guys to hot looking girls, we're magnets to hot looking guys. Why can't the magazine have hot pics? We celebrating looking good, it's part of who we are. We also celebrate on being smart. Most of my friends are all heading into professional careers. We do think about other things outside of sex. I'm sure Qr will have an article or two in each issue to hone in on financial, political, and economic issues - other items, like traveling and prepping for your first job. But frankly, to me, in general Qr is just a home for those guys who want a gay periodical focused on being young and gay and now.

As for fighting a war, I personally would fight for the US. I like it here, having been across the world. I remember reading an article from an Australian newspaper that read that if being American means having the right to choose your religion, say what you want, wear what you want, vote for who you want, and be who you want to be, then those terrorist would have to paint and target him (the writer) an American too. Yes, Bush has issues, but I'd fight when drafted. (hunh, I'll have to find that article again.) (=P you know you're a bit gay when you have scrap books)

And I don't know about 'Eric' having Jungle Fever, but I'm sure they'll work on the diversity issue. It was just a sample, after all. I'll have to count how many non-whites are at my local gay bar next time I go (not counting asians, because I dont count me... ^.^)
